- The Image should link to the image on the album cover or be relevant to the image
- it can be the same image as on the album or be different, but usually have same context, for example a picture of the artist that's on the album might be a different image of the artist on the advert.
- sometimes there is a boarder around the whole advert, however some adverts do not have this, but the both look equally as effective in putting across the message.
Text and Information on advert
- The artist/band name is usually in big bold writing to grab the readers attention
- The name of the album tends to smaller than the artist names but still big enough for reader to see
- The advert will usually have the tour dates on and the venues of these dates
- At the bottom of the advert in small writing there is usually a website which relates to artist and the names of any production company's they are with such as 'Sony'
- In some adverts there can also be reviews from newspapers saying how much they rated the album giving it stars out of 5
- There is also a logo of an music company which distributes music such as iTunes
